I've finally found the time to start a new project. With is project in mind, I purchased a variety of fabrics with purple in them. My probable recipient loves purple. Green's my favorite color; so I was happy with all the green in most of this selection. For you quilters here are some of the designers represented: Kaffe Fassett, Carla Miller, Fay Burgos, Martha Negley, Tina Givens, Philip Jacobs and Lila Tueller. This quilt is going to be quite colorful.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite color is yellow because it is so dunny and happy.
But most everything I quilt is more carnberry, hunter green browns...earthy stuff. My kids call it country.

ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful fabrics. I too love green, but I also love just about every color. It is more a matter of what I'm doing with it that draws me to a certain color. On the other hand, I must admit my personal stash (and clothes) tend to have a lot of green, blues, & purples.

Love them! So cheery! fav color? Oh I just love color period but I must say that I noticed when I made my quilt I gravitated towards blues.
