Back-to-School Book Week


Vintage Chica is having a Back-to-School Book Week! (Aug 30-Sept 3) Here's the run down:

Monday: Your favorite craft book(s)
Tuesday: Your favorite cookbook(s)
Wednesday: Your favorite fiction book
Thursday: Your favorite non-fiction book
Friday: Free Day! Any book you think deserves mentioning!



This is the only craft book I own, City Quilts by Cherri House, so I think it must be my favorite.  "Turn your love of urban cityscapes into beautiful quilts. In this book, you'll discover the secrets of minimalist design-how to find beauty in the basic elements of your environment. These projects deliver exciting, vivid results with solid color fabrics."  This is truly a wonderful inspiring book for any quilter.

    I saw City Quilts on my amazon recommended page, but wasn't sure with all of that black on the cover. Glad to know you are loving it Jan!
