Bob and I are off on another adventure. We love baseball, we're Dodger fans, in fact. We don't get to games as much as we'd like to, but if the Dodgers are playing, we're watching on the tube. After hearing about baseball tours, I researched the companies that offered tours and settled on Jay Buckley Baseball Tours. They offer 23 different tours. I picked tour #9, today we're flying to Chicago and on Monday, we're meeting the tour bus, going to Detroit, Washington DC, NY Yankees, Boston, {with a tour of Fenway and city tour}, the Mets, {with a Manhattan tour}. Then we go to Cooperstown for two days, the second day we'll see this year's induction ceremony. We'll see one last game in Pittsburgh. On 7/24, we're back in Chicago.
We're spending the night in Chicago, then driving to Marinette, WS, in upper Wisconsin, to visit with Bob's Aunt Lorraine and cousins for a couple of days. Then back to Chicago to fly home on the 29th.
Sharon and Oden are going on this adventure with us, and we're all very excited. Initially Sharon and I were going to get Harley T's for each city we were attending a ballgame. We thought they'd be good souvenirs. and we'd look like part of the hometown fans. That didn't pan out because we couldn't order "branded" T's, over the internet, only by going to or calling each store.
We went with Plan B and ordered T's for each ballpark, except when the Dodgers are playing the Mets. We got them from MLB.com, and got T's for Bob and Oden, too. (1) Harley T = (2) baseball T's, price-wise, so we all got them. We'll be rockin' the home team T's at each game.
Thanks for stopping by and sharing my life with me,
What a fun adventure. Have a wonderful time! I'm off to spend a week with my mom in Arizona. Leaving in a bit.
