There are many events that Americans will never forget, "Remember the Alamo", "Remember Pearl Harbor". 9/11 is a date that most of the world will never forget. Everyone everywhere has a 9/11 memory. On 9/11 we were all Americans, no matter where we lived in the world.
Most of the books written about 9/11, were written too soon; they really were lacking. The best book I've read about 9/11 is an epic poem, Bikeman by Thomas F. Flynn. Pick it up, you won't be sorry.
