Captchas

If you hate typing in captchas, you might want to think again. Turns out you're actually helping translate books.

My favorite oldest daughter, Carrie, emailed me a link to this great video.  She knows how much I dislike captchas, A LOT!!  After watching this video Carrie and I emailed back and forth about how personable and intelligent Luis von Ahn is.

Here's the video, it's long but stick with it:



What do you think?  I'm a new fan, not of captchas, but of Luis von Ahn.  Plus, I now like captchas a tad more!

    Well I still don't like Captchas but I won't mind as much if it's on a large website like Ticketmaster, I'll still complain on blogs :).
    This was fascinating and I actually wish it had gone on, I'm a nerd at heart. The language learning is really interesting and I'm off to sign up. Thanks.
